George Abend
George Abend studied at University of California, Berkeley, 1946-1947; California School of Fine Arts from 1948-1950; Academie de la Grande Chaumiere, Paris, 1951-1952; and the University of Guadalajara, Mexico, 1953-1954. Abend taught at Carnegie Institute of Technology and the Cedar Educational Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 1962-1966. He was a visiting artist at California State College, Los Angeles, and graphic film consultant at University of Southern California, L. A. 1966-1969.
